It’s the last day of August, which means it’s time to recap my goals for the month and see what I’ve got planned for the month ahead. Let’s get started!

Happy August! July was productive, fun, stressful, and overall really positive. I’m excited to see what August has in store! But first, let’s do a recap of my goals for the month of July.

Happy July! As crazy as it was, June flew by, so I’m glad I was realistic with my goals last month. Here’s a recap of what I accomplished!

Happy (almost) June! As you may have heard in Sunday Scratches #31, June is going to be a big month for me and Sean… we’re moving back to Michigan!
So as the craziness continues (and then hopefully begins to calm down), my theme has been “maintenance.” But before we get into goals for June, let’s recap my goals for May.

Thank god April is over. With the neverending winter and some crazy things going on at home, I’m saying good riddance to April!
With a new month comes new goals! But first, let’s see how I did in April.

It may not feel like it outside, but April is upon us! A new month means it’s time for another round of goal-setting. But before we talk about my April goals, let’s look back at what I accomplished in March.

Another month is upon us, which means it’s time for another round of goal-setting! But before we talk about my March goals, let’s look back at what I accomplished in February.

Aaah, a new month! As much as I love setting a New Year’s Resolution each January, there’s something special about the beginning of the month (and, if we’re being honest, the beginning of the week) as well.
I used to post monthly goal round-ups and check-ins, but I got away from it once I decided to hyper-focus my content. Now that I’m back to more of a lifestyle blog, I’ve decided to start sharing my goals each month!
Here’s what I’m hoping to accomplish in February, both personally and for the blog.

Aah, the end of the year. The time when we look back at everything we accomplished and set goals for the next 12 months. As I’ve been planning my 2018 New Year’s resolution, though, one thought kept coming back: what if setting more than one New Year’s resolution is setting us up to fail?
After all, the best way to form a new habit is to focus on one at a time. Small steps (and yes, repetition) are the keys to success.
So why do we treat New Year’s differently? We set all of these goals to be a better person by the end of the year, but we’re being overly optimistic on how much change we can take on in that timeframe.
So, with that said, I narrowed down my list of resolution ideas and came up with one, singular, 2018 New Year’s Resolution.

I can’t believe we’re only a month away from 2016. This year flew by! And at the same time, I know I’ve grown a lot in the past 11 months.
I’m Caitlin. I’m a total homebody currently living in Kalamazoo, Michigan (yes, it’s a real place!) with my husband, dog, and cat. And Possibly Dinosaurs is where I share all of the best parts of being a homebody—books, crafts, food, organization, Netflix, and more.
