I can’t believe we’re only a month away from 2016. This year flew by! And at the same time, I know I’ve grown a lot in the past 11 months.
Before we get into a goals roundup, I’ve got some pretty big news to share!
A few weeks ago, Sean accepted a full-time position with a company in Cincinnati, Ohio. So, after 24 years of making fun of the Buckeye State, I’m moving there. Almost.
We found an adorable house to rent just across the river in Kentucky. So technically, we aren’t moving to Ohio. (I told my current boss this and he literally stood up and cheered. He’s a big U of M fan.)
So we’re moving to Kentucky at the beginning of January. We’ve got a few weeks off to celebrate the holidays with family and see everyone / eat at all of the breakfast places before we leave. Hopefully the blogging won’t slow down over that time (I’m planning on writing a bunch of posts ahead of time), but I can’t guarantee it.
Also, if you know of any bloggers in the Cincinnati area, please let me know!
November Goals
Post three times per week: one blogging post, one design post, and one feminism post.Done! Super proud of this decision, and I think it’s been really great for the blog.
Write every day. Nope. I’ve got some big projects up my sleeve, but I definitely didn’t write every day.
Finish #GoIndependent. Nope. Again. I started XOSarah’s CPP Live! this month, though, and that’s been my priority. I’ll finish #GoIndependent one of these days!
December Goals
Relax. This whole “moving” thing has been creating a lot of stress, so I’m hoping to have a stress-free month. We’ve already got just about all of our Christmas shopping done, and I’ve wrapped quite a few of the gifts. I’ll have a few weeks off of work, too, so that will be a great opportunity for relaxation.
Finish Wicked. I’ve been struggling to read this for a while (due in major part to all of the #stress), but I’m actually nearing the end. Of the first book–not the series. But I’d love to finish the first book by the end of the month. I think it would help with #1!
Finish up my e-course. No, I don’t mean one I’m taking. I mean one I’m teaching. I’m really excited about it! It’s going to be an InDesign for Bloggers course. Want more info? Sign up for my email list! Not sure I’ll launch it before the new year, but I want to have everything done by the end of the month / year.
What are your goals for the month? Have any Cincinnati travel tips for me? Let me know in the comments!
