Sunday Scratches is where I share the little stuff that has happened throughout the week. In hockey, “scratches” are people who are on the roster but do not play in the game. On the blog, “scratches” are the things that have happened to me throughout the week that aren’t necessarily big enough to be an entire post.

Happy Sunday! Sean and I have been spending the week getting ready because… we’re moving back to Michigan!
For the past couple of weeks I’ve been hinting about some crazy life changes happening, and we’re finally ready to share! On Friday we’re loading up our cars and moving back to west Michigan. We’re so excited to be back in the mitten!
We’re buying a house in Kalamazoo, which is about an hour away from where I grew up / where my parents live / where a good portion of our college friends live, and about another hour away from more of my family. We’re really excited and can’t wait to share more!
The Week in Review
GDPR went into effect on Friday so I’ve basically been avoiding the internet since then.
I’ve been hanging out at home this weekend while Sean spends some time in Michigan with his college friends. I started watching Friends on Friday, because it’s one of those shows I’ve always wanted to see, but never took the time for. And now… let’s say I spent way too much time watching it this weekend and not enough time getting rid of stuff and cleaning the house.
I also treated myself to some sheet masks at Ulta (yes please!) and a new bottle of Essie nail polish in Play Date. Though I will say it took me three tries to paint my nails without it getting all weird and bubbly. Anyone have the same problem? Any tips on how to paint my nails better?
During the week, we’ve been trying to hit up our favorite Cincinnati places before we move. We’ve spent too much time at Darkness (and got 3rd place at trivia on Wednesday!) while enjoying pizza, Mexican food, and more beer!
I love my new JCrew light denim jeans (which are now sold out), so I’ve been eyeing the same ones in white. Once we get moved in and settled in Michigan, I think I’m going to have to treat myself!
I haven’t been able to keep up with my Bloglovin feed lately as I’ve been prepping to move (!!) but I really enjoyed this post about how confidence comes after you start, not before.
