Sunday Scratches is where I share the little stuff that has happened throughout the week. In hockey, “scratches” are people who are on the roster but do not play in the game. On the blog, “scratches” are the things that have happened to me throughout the week that aren’t necessarily big enough to be an entire post.

Happy Sunday and happy April! Here are the scratches for the week.
Normally I love the beginning of the month, but wowza we had like 15 work projects launching on April 1, and… most of them didn’t go smoothly. 😂 I’m glad this week is behind me!
BUT on a happy note, I got my first dose of the COVID vaccine on Monday morning! I was really anxious about the process, but it honestly went really smoothly.
I’ve been joking that you can tell there’s a light at the end of the tunnel when my wishlist is full of pants, shoes, and eye shadow. I’m ready for this to be over so we can get out and see people again!
I started treating myself to some of the items on my wish list, too! I got these pants, and I’m ready to buy them in every color. They’re seriously so comfortable. I sit cross-legged at my desk when I work, and I can totally do that in these pants without feeling like they’re going to rip.
I also got myself this shirt in a bunch of colors—it’s inexpensive and super comfortable!
Other than working and shopping, I’ve been doing lots of reading! I’m working my way through Talia Hibbert’s books, and I just sped through Larger Than Life—it was so fun!
