Holy cow, I can’t believe it’s already February!
January felt really slow at the beginning, but then super fast at the end. How weird is that?
With the first month of the new year behind us, let’s look back on my January goals and see what I have in store for February.
January Goals
Retry the #30DaysNoShopping from Stylebook.I didn’t spend any money on clothes! I ended up getting a Fitbit Surge and a board game, but overall I didn’t do much spending, so I’m happy with that.Complete the first 31 days of the #100HappyDays Challenge. As I explained in my check-in post, I didn’t really like this challenge, so I stopped after like two days.
Finish my book. Not even close. I maybe read one chapter?
Teach the puppy how to sit and lay down.Man, he crushed this. He learned how to sit in like three days. He now knows shake, sit, come, and lay down.Publish three blog posts per week for the entire month.Nailed it!
February Goals
Update the apartment so it has more of an adult feel. I’ve really started de-cluttering a lot in my apartment. I’ve easily gotten rid of 2,000 things so far. Now it’s time to update some of my existing things so everything isn’t quite so mis-matched. New Tupperware, new bedding, new end tables, etc.
Finish my book. I really really really want to finish it this month.
Teach the puppy how to kiss, crawl, and drop it. And no, I don’t mean drop it like it’s hot.
Make good progress on my blog / photography classes. I’ve gotten several classes from A Beautiful Mess that I really want to make some good progress on this month.
Publish three blog posts per week for the entire month. It went well last month, so let’s continue it this month!
Become more active in my blogging Facebook groups. There are some awesome opportunities, so now I have to put the time into it!
Let’s get this year started! What are your goals for the month?
I’m glad your posting 3 days a week!! 😀 and I stopped 100 happy days too…… ooops. You need to take more puppy picture 😛 that’s my goal for you!
Hah! I will try! 🙂 He’s getting SO BIG SO FAST!
Please teach Stanley to dance to Drop it like it’s Hot. Please. Please please please.

Well, he really likes humping things, so maybe we just need to start playing Drop It Like It’s Hot more often. We’ll work on it when you visit.
These are some awesome goals. I can relate about not finishing my book. I’ll have to return it to the library soon. Haha.

We are also in the process of “adulting” our apartment. Right now it’s pretty much a hodge-podge of my husband and I’s college things.
Also, what ABM classes are you working through?
I’ve got four right now! (Woof.) Photoshop for Bloggers, DSLR Basics, Blog Life, and Capture Real Life in 52 Weeks. 🙂
What lovely goals, Caitlin 🙂 I love that your puppy is learning and being a little doll! How cute! De-cluttering is a HUGE accomplishment, I’m inspired and ….working on it… — I hope that you are feeling all grown up 🙂 Way to go on your blogging goals — I hope this month is as successful. I’ll bet those photography classes are sweeet!
Thanks for linking up, it is so wonderful to have your post and your encouragement!
