April Goals

April 2015 Goals
Holy cow, March went by so slowly for me. I’m so glad it’s finally April.

It hasn’t necessarily been a bad month, but it’s been a little stressful. I’m excited to put it behind me!

Let’s look at my goals for the month that just ended and the one that’s just beginning:

March Goals

  1. Finish my book. Ugh. I may never finish it at this point. I’m 62% of the way through.

  2. Exercise 3x per week. I didn’t quite get there. But I’d say I averaged 2x per week. It also doesn’t help that my leasing office closed our exercise room for renovations.

  3. Make good progress on my blog / photography classes. I wanted to get five lessons done in each of my four ABM blog classes. It was a lot more work than I thought it would be, but I did it!

  4. Publish three blog posts per week for the entire month. Done!

  5. Start and complete my media kit. I postponed this one until the 30th, but I got everything I could done! The links are even clickable! There are some stats I don’t quite have yet, but I’ve left room for it to be added soon.

  6. Go back and SEO 50% of my blog posts. Done! I actually have 58% of them SEO’d!

Two-thirds isn’t too bad! Especially with how crazy of a month it was.

April Goals

  1. Finish my book. I don’t have much left. I can do this!

  2. Exercise 3x pr week. I really think I can do it, especially now that the weather is warming up. Hopefully it’s for good this time!

  3. Complete three more lessons from each of my ABM classes. The lessons are getting a little harder; no more introductions. So I’m toning it down to three from each this month. That’s still 12, though!

  4. Schedule and write my posts more than one day in advance. Despite having my posts planned out, I’m still leaving the writing to the last minute. I’d like to write as many as possible a few days in advance so I can re-read them before they are posted.

  5. Finalize my media kit. Just filling in the last stats! Shouldn’t be too big of a deal.

  6. SEO all of my posts. And SEO them as I write them so I never have to go back and add it!

  7. Make a fundraising plan for the trip to India. I really want to make this trip happen! I just need to figure out if I can, financially. (If you want to help, check out my Etsy shop!)

A lot of these goals are on the same page as my March goals, but I’m okay with that. The March goals were starting places, so now it’s time to finish them up!

What are your goals for the month?

“I’m still leaving the writing to the last minute” could be the title of my biography. My goal is to find a new job. Lofty ambitions over here, for sure.

So I guess that’s my personality now.
