Sunday Scratches is where I share the little stuff that has happened throughout the week. In hockey, “scratches” are people who are on the roster but do not play in the game. On the blog, “scratches” are the things that have happened to me throughout the week that aren’t necessarily big enough to be an entire post.

Happy Sunday! Here are the scratches for the week.
It really wasn’t too bad of a week at work compared to the previous two weeks. I had the opportunity to get some behind-the-scenes work done, which was nice!
Last weekend, Sean and I ordered some rugs for the sunroom and porch. When it’s not safe to have someone come out to redo your ugly floors, you order rugs to just cover them up! You can see the sunroom rug above—we’re so happy with both! We also hung up our game-used, autographed Petr Mrazek stick, which you can see in the photo, too! It’s been wrapped up since we moved almost two years ago, so it’s nice to finally have it unpacked.
The weather has been nice-ish on and off, so I’ve been sitting out on the porch reading! It’s been so nice to feel like we can finally use the porch that we spent all last summer working on.
Sean and I started watching Tiger King on Netflix this week… and I stopped about 10 minutes into the second episode. The main first reason is that I’m super queasy, and I know you don’t see anything, but hearing about the whole situation (you know what I’m talking about if you’ve seen it) was just too much for me. Plus, I felt like I was only watching it because everyone else was talking about it… I didn’t actually want to watch it. So I stopped. 🤷🏼♀️
Something I have been super jazzed about, though, is All Time Low’s new album. Pretty much listening to it on repeat and I’m not sorry.
This weekend I bought Animal Crossing: New Horizons for our Nintendo Switch, and that might have been both the worst and best decision ever. That’s pretty much what I did all weekend. We moved the outdoor furniture out from the basement and did some virtual happy hours, but other than that, I’ve pretty much just been playing Animal Crossing all weekend. Nothing else too big to report. 😂
