Sunday Scratches is where I share the little stuff that has happened throughout the week. In hockey, “scratches” are people who are on the roster but do not play in the game. On the blog, “scratches” are the things that have happened to me throughout the week that aren’t necessarily big enough to be an entire post.

Happy Sunday! I’ve been taking a few days off from the blog because… Sean and I officially moved into our house in Michigan! But I’m back sharing the scratches from the last week or two.
The Week in Review
We closed on the house on Monday, and were fortunate enough to have all of our stuff delivered the same day! So the past week has basically been filled with tons of unpacking. We’ve pretty much got the boxes unpacked, we just need to find a place for everything now.
I’ve had a few people ask what I’m doing for work. Amazingly, my employer bent over backwards to continue my employment remotely! So I used a vacation day on Monday to oversee the deliver of our stuff, and on Tuesday I went back to work from the comfort of my home. Not bad at all!
We stopped by Bell’s on Tuesday, because we’re pretty sure you can’t claim to live in Kalamazoo until you go to Bell’s. All the Oberon, please!
On Thursday we made the hour drive to Grand Rapids to watch Game 5 of the Stanley Cup finals with two of our friends, Josh and Ashley. We were all rooting for Vegas to win the Stanley Cup, but we weren’t disappointed that Washington won, either. I mean, how can you be upset when Alex Ovechkin is this happy?
Sean’s parents came to visit on Friday evening, since they’re in the process of moving from Michigan to Florida. We went to Latitude 42 for dinner which was so good, and then swung by Crow’s Nest for breakfast yesterday morning before they continued on their journey down south.

My Bloglovin feed is still a bit out of control… there are posts in there that went up 17 days ago and I still haven’t read. 😅 Whoops. Even so, I’ve read some pretty great things while I’ve been taking short breaks from unpacking.
I really appreciate this post about how to be an LGBT ally.
Once I’m caught up on my Bloglovin feed (or when I need to take a break from it for a bit…), I definitely want to do some of these things you can do offline.
I’ve been feeling really unproductive lately, despite getting a lot done, because there are so many things I still need to do. This list has helped.
In Case You Missed It…
It’s been up for about a week and a half now, but I recently shared my June Goals.
