Sunday Scratches is where I share the little stuff that has happened throughout the week. In hockey, “scratches” are people who are on the roster but do not play in the game. On the blog, “scratches” are the things that have happened to me throughout the week that aren’t necessarily big enough to be an entire post.

Happy Sunday! Here are the scratches for the week.
Am I the only one super excited for March to be here? Don’t get me wrong, February is great, but it felt strangely long for the shortest month of the year, and I love the fresh start of a new month. So hello, March!
My friend Amber and I finally got a beer before our ceramics class this week. We’ve been talking about doing it since the second class, and finally made it happen. And it worked out that it was on Mardi Gras, and the brewery had a Paczki and a Pint deal! Yes, please.
I’m so close to being done with my biggest ceramics project so far. I started the coil pot (above) during the second week of class… way back in the middle of January. I finally glazed it this week, so I’m just waiting for it to be fired! I’m planning on putting a plant in it. I’ll need to make a tray for it to sit in, because I drilled a hole in the bottom for water to escape, but right now there’s nowhere for the water to go, so that will be my next project!
On Friday, Sean had an off-site team-building activity downtown, so I met him at the Stamped Robin for a drink after work. It’s one of our favorite places! Afterward we got a Hot-N-Ready pizza (it’s been so long!) and watched Frozen 2, which I had picked up on a whim from the library that day. It was an awesome way to spend a Friday evening.
Today we’re taking advantage of the spring weather (and therefore spring mentality!) by tackling house projects! I finally finished patch-painting the upstairs bathroom, and we’re learning how to scrape popcorn ceiling in the sunroom!
