Sunday Scratches is where I share the little stuff that has happened throughout the week. In hockey, “scratches” are people who are on the roster but do not play in the game. On the blog, “scratches” are the things that have happened to me throughout the week that aren’t necessarily big enough to be an entire post.

Happy Sunday! Here are the scratches from the week.
I’m going to try going back to unscripted / unorganized Sunday Scratches and see how it goes! Let me know if you prefer one or the other.
Over the past few months I’ve started developing an outright obsession with nail polish… my collection has grown a lot recently. I’m currently up to 55 shades. 🙈I’m just about out of room on my two separate nail polish racks, so I’ve been eyeing this one to put in the office (which is where I do most of my nail painting anyway!
P.S. I started an Instagram account just for my nail polish obsession… you can give me a follow at @andpossiblynails!
It started snowing here this week! We got a bunch of snow on Monday, and it kept snowing little by little throughout the week. We’re super glad we got the porch windows in and the leaves put in the street last weekend.
Next weekend we’re hosting our very first Friendsgiving, which I’m super excited about! Of course that means finishing up a bunch of small projects around the house so we’re ready for guests… wish us luck!
I also wrapped up Christmas gift shopping for my side of the family this weekend. I’m so excited about what I got for everyone. I arguably like giving gifts more than receiving them! It’s definitely my love language.
I made these cookies last weekend… and made them again on Friday. They’re that good. 100% recommend.
I’m currently reading His Dark Materials and loving it. I read the first one in grade school and for whatever reason never read books 2 or 3… but I’m finally catching up now so I can watch the HBO show when I’m done!
Oh, and I’m currently soft-launching 20-minute consultations! You can go online and book a 20-minute video call with me for just $20 (I need at least 18 hours of notice but otherwise I think my schedule is pretty flexible!). We can work through any tech issue you might be having–email list, website, etc.! If I can’t solve it, I can at least point you in the right direction.
Follow along on Goodreads or Instagram at @caitlinhonard to hear about these things during the week! xo
