Sunday Scratches is where I share the little stuff that has happened throughout the week. In hockey, “scratches” are people who are on the roster but do not play in the game. On the blog, “scratches” are the things that have happened to me throughout the week that aren’t necessarily big enough to be an entire post.

Happy Sunday, and welcome to Sunday Scratches!
Monday was a nice and productive day thanks to the day off! I spent a lot of time working on blog updates, catching up on chores, etc.
Tuesday I brought my brand new Keurig to work (!!) and I’m really pumped about it. It’s bright turquoise and I don’t need to get up from my desk to get coffee any more. Plus, our coffee at work is sub-par, so now I can enjoy my coffee again. #coffeesnob
We played our third kickball game on Wednesday. Have I mentioned that our team name is On Wednesdays, we wear pink? Because it is, and I’m really proud of it. (Our shirts are pink, obvi.) We lost, but we picnicked beforehand and had an all-around great time.
Friday was Sean’s birthday, so we got a big group of people together to go to the Griffins game. We ended up winning in overtime, too, which was awesome! Afterward we went to a few bars and stayed out way later than normal. We didn’t get home until 1 a.m., and Stanley wasn’t very happy with us. Whoops!
Also, if you didn’t hear, the Lightning beat the Rangers in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Friday. I really like both teams, but I was still kinda bummed for Henrik Lundqvist. He’s just so great.
We were going to go to my parents’ cottage this weekend, but it’s been cold and rainy so we are having a low-key weekend at home. We’ll have some friends over tonight for the next Griffins game.

High five for coffee snobbery. What a beautiful Keurig! And HBD Sean!
