Sunday Scratches is where I share the little stuff that has happened throughout the week. In hockey, “scratches” are people who are on the roster but do not play in the game. On the blog, “scratches” are the things that have happened to me throughout the week that aren’t necessarily big enough to be an entire post.

Happy Sunday! Here are the scratches for the week.
After some great news last weekend, this was another… trying week. (Though can’t we say that for all weeks since March?)
We’re gearing up for a big tech migration at work this coming week, and the prep work has been pretty much all-consuming for the past few weeks. I’m very much looking forward to vacation! Just 5 more days…
It hasn’t been all bad though. I cooked one of my favorite chili recipes for dinner, and we got a new vacuum that we’ve been a little too excited about. (Is this 30?) Seriously, who knew our rugs were so gross?
Plus, on Friday, we accomplished something big—we paid off our student loans! We’ve been really attacking them for the past 6 years, and it feels like such a relief for them to be gone. It’s an exciting item to have crossed off my 101 in 1001 list!
Speaking of my list, I made a little bit of progress in the Animal Crossing section. I took the week off because it was starting to feel like a burden instead of fun (and no video game should feel like a burden!), and when I started again on Saturday, I got a new golden tool DIY recipe (#90) and unexpectedly got Chevre’s framed photo (#88)! Plus I’m only 4 songs away from having all of KK Slider’s songs (#91). Not too shabby for my first day back in a week!
