Sunday Scratches is where I share the little stuff that has happened throughout the week. In hockey, “scratches” are people who are on the roster but do not play in the game. On the blog, “scratches” are the things that have happened to me throughout the week that aren’t necessarily big enough to be an entire post.

Happy Sunday! Here are the scratches for the week.
It was a busy week, despite having Monday off! My office closes for both MLK Day and Presidents’ Day, and I feel so fortunate to get some time off during the dreaded stretch between the holidays and Memorial Day.
I spent Monday doing a lot of relaxing! When I have the day off and Sean doesn’t, I still try to wake up when he does, but this time I was all about sleeping in. I got up around 8:30 (which is sleeping in for me!), made coffee and breakfast, caught up on Office Ladies and The Office, and read a bunch of my book. It was glorious.
Tuesday and Wednesday were full of meetings, which was both stressful and nice. I got to spend the day socializing, but it also meant I didn’t have time to get things done on big looming projects. 😬
Wednesday was also my birthday! Sean and I went to our favorite place in town, Maru, to celebrate with sushi. The chefs hooked us up with some massive, over-the-top rolls because the waiter told them it was my birthday, and we got a free mochi dessert. Yes, please!
Thursday and Friday were spent catching up on all of the things I had to put off on Tuesday and Wednesday. It was a busy week! Not 100% terrible, but I’m definitely happy for the weekend.
On Friday, Sean stopped at like 5 stores after work to find us the Ring Fit! (What is this, 1999?) I’m surprised at how good of a workout it is. I’m definitely going to be playing it a bunch.
