Sunday Scratches is where I share the little stuff that has happened throughout the week. In hockey, “scratches” are people who are on the roster but do not play in the game. On the blog, “scratches” are the things that have happened to me throughout the week that aren’t necessarily big enough to be an entire post.

Happy Sunday, friends! It’s been a long time since the last Sunday Scratches. Hopefully it’s not as long next time? (Famous last words.) Here are the scratches for this past week!
This week was so full! We’re now at a stopping place with our porch rebuild, so we’ve been repairing the outside trim on some windows before winter attacks Michigan. We worked on that Monday after work and all day yesterday, with more work planned today! We should be able to finish up that project today, though which will be so nice.
I’ve also been using the free print-outs of the Passion Planner Daily so I can prep for them when they arrive in early December! I’m not 100% sure how I’ll balance the Daily with my regular Passion Planner, but I’m excited to figure it out!
I’m trying to get into meal prep again, because all of our home projects are impacting our eating habits in… not the best ways. I made this cochinitas pibil recipe this week and loved it.
Sean and I started watching Veep recently. I love it. It’s the perfect mix of The Office and The Newsroom.
On Thursday I headed to Toledo for work. It was nice to see my coworkers in person again! I treated myself to this Lifetime Member scarf and another scarf that’s discontinued that has badge designs all over it. I’ve been eyeing it for years so I’m glad I finally got it before it’s gone forever!
On Thursday evening we had our Toledo Women of Distinction event, which was really nice! I got to meet some amazing women in Toledo and get to know my coworkers even better. Win-win!
I stayed in Toledo overnight for more planning meetings on Friday (brainstorming meetings are the best!), and of course had to hit up Manos for lunch. I can’t leave Toledo without having that hummus.
Next weekend we leave for a week-long vacation in Florida (yes, please!) so we’ll be doing a lot of prep work and finishing up projects. Fingers crossed we get everything done in time!
