Sunday Scratches is where I share the little stuff that has happened throughout the week. In hockey, “scratches” are people who are on the roster but do not play in the game. On the blog, “scratches” are the things that have happened to me throughout the week that aren’t necessarily big enough to be an entire post.

Happy Sunday from Los Angeles! We’re out here for a long weekend to celebrate my cousin’s wedding and my brother-in-law’s birthday. There will be a full recap of the trip this week, but in the mean time, here are the scratches!
The Week in Review
Sean actually left for a work trip before our vacation on Monday, so I had some time to myself during the week. I expected it to be nice and relaxing, but in the end I just got kinda lonely, which I feel like is a good sign for our marriage!
I finished painting the office on Sunday, so before Sean left on Monday morning we put the desk back up so I could work there throughout the week! Making progress!
I also did our taxes (finally) and it turns out we’re going to get back a lot more money than we expected!
On Tuesday, I started recording videos for the rebranded InDesign Adventure Guide. They weren’t too groundbreaking and I still have a lot of videos to record, but it was still encouraging to get a few out of the way.
And finally, in the midst of packing, I signed up for a free trial of YouTube Premium so I could watch The Boy Band Con. It was super interesting. I don’t know if I’ll watch it again, but I think it’s a good movie for any 90s kid to watch once.
