Sunday Scratches is where I share the little stuff that has happened throughout the week. In hockey, “scratches” are people who are on the roster but do not play in the game. On the blog, “scratches” are the things that have happened to me throughout the week that aren’t necessarily big enough to be an entire post.

Happy Sunday! I’m back from one trip and preparing for the next. Here are the scratches!
The Week in Review
I spent the first half of the week working around the house and prepping for a trip to Toledo on Thursday and Friday for work. I had a really great time with my coworkers, and it was nice actually seeing everyone in person!
Plus, on my way to Toledo, I swung by the Detroit airport and changed my last name with Global Entry, which was the last place I needed to change it! That means I could cross #6 off my 101 in 1001 list!
Yesterday Sean and I did a lot of work around the house! I painted the first coat in the office, and Sean cut almost all of the wood for our new built-in bookshelf that we’re building. Slowly but surely we’re making progress!
I’m actually working today even though it’s Sunday. I work for an awesome organization that lets you flex your time within a week, so I’m working 8 hours today so I can take off Thursday and Friday with only one vacation day. We’re headed to LA for my cousin’s wedding so I’ll be doing lots of laundry and packing today and tomorrow!
Oh, and of course I’m reading reading reading in my free time. Only two more weeks until Game of Thrones comes back for the final season, so I’ve got a lot of reading to do before then! Follow my progress on Goodreads!
