Sunday Scratches is where I share the little stuff that has happened throughout the week. In hockey, “scratches” are people who are on the roster but do not play in the game. On the blog, “scratches” are the things that have happened to me throughout the week that aren’t necessarily big enough to be an entire post.

Happy Sunday! It’s been a crazy week, and an even crazier weekend so far. But for the most part, it’s all for good reasons! Here are the scratches from the week.
The Week in Review
Last Sunday, we had some visitors at the house! My sister was in town, so she and my dad came down from Grand Rapids while my aunt and uncle came up from Benton Harbor. It was a really great excuse to get a few small projects done around the house, and we loved getting to see everyone for a short visit!
Throughout the week, I slowly but surely taped off our sunroom. Yesterday we painted it light grey (the same color as the living room, kitchen, entryway / stairwell, and upstairs hallway!) and it looks awesome. We also finally think we have an idea of what we want to do with the space, so that’s really exciting. But before we tackle that, we have a few more rooms to paint!
I crossed another item off my 101 in 1001: Take 2 list! I saved up my Microsoft Rewards points (you can get a bunch of points every day just for using Bing as your search engine) and redeemed them for enough Amazon gift cards to pay for a pair of white low-top Converse! I’ve wanted these shoes for forever and I’m so excited to finally own them!

This is such an interesting insight into Instagram. It’s not just a highlight reel; it’s a reel of the photos that will get the most likes.
