Sunday Scratches is where I share the little stuff that has happened throughout the week. In hockey, “scratches” are people who are on the roster but do not play in the game. On the blog, “scratches” are the things that have happened to me throughout the week that aren’t necessarily big enough to be an entire post.

Happy Sunday! Normally I’d go through the news from the week, but I’m going to skip that this week because I’ve got a big announcement!
Sean and I went up north this weekend to visit the Dark Sky Park in Mackinaw City. It was a little cloudy but still absolutely beautiful and amazing.
After looking at all of the stars… Sean proposed! I said yes, of course.
So after a little more than five years, we’re officially getting married! We aren’t sure about dates or themes or anything of that sort yet. So I’ll be researching that much more actively on Pinterest in the coming months. 😉
And, because I know you’re all interested, here’s a photo of the ring:
What wedding advice do you have for me? I’d love to hear it in the comments!
SO Happy for you!! Congrats!!!
Thank you!! 🙂
Congratulations!! Your ring is absolutely beautiful!
Thank you!
So incredibly ecstatic for you even if you WON’T play Hannah Montana for your first dance! And your ring is gorgeous. Seriously so very happy to hear this news!

(Also IDK what you mean about not being sure about themes because if it isn’t prehistoric themed I mean WHY ARE YOU EVEN HAVING A WEDDING.)

Hahahaha ohhhh Randi
Congratulations! Such wonderful news! Your ring is absolutely gorgeous. I’ll get back to you on wedding tips. Just enjoy being engaged for a little bit 🙂
Yes please! 🙂 And thanks, Shann!
Don’t know how I missed this post – CONGRATULATIONS! That ring though. Goodness. Yes. Sadly, I’m “that single friend” so I have no advice! Just enjoy being engaged and basking in that happy glow* 🙂
*I imagine newly engaged people/married people are bathed in some weird, other worldly glow of happiness. So yes, just enjoy that 🙂
Thank you so much, Kendel! Right now that “happy glow” is tiredness, so we’ll see if that changes. 😉
