Sunday Scratches is where I share the little stuff that has happened throughout the week. In hockey, “scratches” are people who are on the roster but do not play in the game. On the blog, “scratches” are the things that have happened to me throughout the week that aren’t necessarily big enough to be an entire post.

Happy Sunday! Here are the scratches for the week.
On Monday at work, we had a bit of a scare—our marketing request / project management system broke. We were able to create a quick work-around and it has since been fixed, but it prompted us to start looking into new systems, which means I got to spend most of the week playing around with project management systems! It was honestly really fun and exciting, and I enjoyed it so much that I worked way longer into the evening than normal. 😂 But when you enjoy it, who cares?
We got a new laundry basket in the mail this week! I ordered it from Kisseman Children’s Foundation Baskets for Education—I met Beatrice and Dominic when I studied abroad in Ghana in 2011, so I love buying baskets from then whenever I can! We’re using it in the sunroom to hold all of our blankets and I love it.
Yesterday was a big day—we traveled up to Grand Rapids to pick up a bunch of cabinets from one of my mom’s friends who is redoing her kitchen. We’re putting them all in our laundry room for some much-needed basement storage! We’ve still got some work to do before I can get to organizing (cutting the countertop, oiling the butcher block, cleaning the cabinets, putting everything together, etc), but I can start to see it forming!
