Sunday Scratches #118

October 25, 2020

Sunday Scratches is where I share the little stuff that has happened throughout the week. In hockey, “scratches” are people who are on the roster but do not play in the game. On the blog, “scratches” are the things that have happened to me throughout the week that aren’t necessarily big enough to be an entire post.

Happy Sunday! Here are the scratches for the week.

I honestly don’t have too much to say about this week, because it was rough. My burnout is at an all-time high (which is saying something for 2020), and I’m just exhausted.

I was having trouble sleeping all week, which of course made the issue worse, but I was able to relax quite a bit this weekend, so I hope that will help going forward.

The good news is, I crossed two items off my 101 in 1001 list! One night when I was having trouble sleeping, I saw a new day switch over in Animal Crossing at 5 am (#92), and the coupe glasses I ordered last weekend arrived yesterday (#25)!

I also made some progress on other items, listening to some OG 99% Invisible episodes (#5), reading a Dear America book (#84) and promptly putting it in my neighbor’s Little Free Library (#80), starting a Royal Diaries book (#85), and also starting another anti-racism book (#81)!

Follow along on Goodreads or Instagram at @caitlinhonard to hear about these things during the week! xo

Hi! I'm Caitlin. I’m a total homebody currently living in Kalamazoo, Michigan (yes, it’s a real place!) with my husband, dog, and cat. And Possibly Dinosaurs is where I share all of the best parts of being a homebody—books, crafts, food, organization, Netflix, and more. Say hi.

So I guess that’s my personality now.
