Sunday Scratches is where I share the little stuff that has happened throughout the week. In hockey, “scratches” are people who are on the roster but do not play in the game. On the blog, “scratches” are the things that have happened to me throughout the week that aren’t necessarily big enough to be an entire post.

Happy Sunday! Here are the scratches for the week.
It was another busy week in the Honard household! Sean had a big week at work and needed to use the office, so I worked from the sunroom all week. It was a nice change! And you know I’m in video meetings too often when almost all of them started with “oh Caitlin, you’re in a new space!”
To be honest, I almost exclusively worked this week. I read and played Animal Crossing a bit in the evenings, but other than that, I just felt too exhausted after work to really do anything.
I woke up super early on Tuesday morning and couldn’t get back to sleep, so I came downstairs and read on the porch while the sun rose. That was really nice! I definitely could have used the sleep, but it wasn’t such a bad alternative.
On Friday we had our big end-of-camp celebration, Camporee, which I worked really hard on! I was worried no one was going to show up, but we actually had a really nice turnout. It was such a relief, and a really fun experience.
Yesterday I kicked butt! I set my goals for the month (probably too many of them TBH, but we’ll see how the month goes), and then immediately started working on them. I went for a run (didn’t get the whole thing in, but after taking several weeks off, I’m cool with that), updated my planners, did some work around the house, and crossed off my first goal: watch Clueless!
I’m really excited that August is here, because July was rough. Here’s to a much better month ahead!
