Hey friends! I thought it was time to share a peak behind the scenes at And Possibly Dinosaurs because it’s been a while!
Sean and I went back to Michigan over the holiday to see family and work on wedding plans, including getting our engagement photos taken!
While we were there, we also checked out some spots for a rehearsal brunch (brunch > dinner), and absolutely fell in love with one. It’s right on the water, and we can get our own buffet and bar right by our tables. Yes, please.
We also picked up some cupcakes from our baker, who’s the sweetest (pun intended) person ever. She’s a small business owner who bakes all of her cupcakes in her house, but her dream is to open her own storefront in Holland. Gotta love supporting entrepreneurs! We’re getting mini cupcakes in three flavors: tiramisu, salted caramel, and dark chocolate with white frosting. yum.
One of the most exciting parts of the day was going back to our venue. It was the first time we went back after our original tour, and it honestly got better. We didn’t think we could love it more, but we do! It was really nice to see it again with fresh eyes and figure out some of the logistical decisions of the day.
It’s really nice getting a lot of this stuff done now, because we aren’t getting married until September of 2017. So much time! It’s really allowed us to enjoy the whole process even more because we aren’t overwhelmed by too much.
We also tried out two caterers, and loved them both. Now the tough part: deciding!
But let’s be real, you guys aren’t here for an update on wedding plans. You want to see the pictures!
We took these at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, where my dad went to school! It’s an absolutely beautiful campus. details below.
