Sunday Scratches is where I share the little stuff that has happened throughout the week. In hockey, “scratches” are people who are on the roster but do not play in the game. On the blog, “scratches” are the things that have happened to me throughout the week that aren’t necessarily big enough to be an entire post.

Happy Sunday, and happy Memorial Day weekend! Here are the scratches for the week.
This week has been rough. To be honest, my depression and anxiety have been kicking into high gear for the past week and a half or so, and it’s made it really hard to get much done.
I’ve got a big exciting project at work, which helps! It’s launching next week Friday and I’m really excited about everything the team has come up with.
I got a late start to Couch to 10K because it rained like crazy earlier in the week, but I managed to catch up Friday and yesterday. It feels really good to stick with it, even when it’s hard! I’m still doing a lot of walking between runs, so I’ve been using it as an excuse to catch up with some friends via text or Google Hangouts.
I’ve also done a bunch of reading this week, which felt really nice. I’ve been in a bit of a reading slump, so finishing two books in one week was awesome. I’m still behind on my reading goal, but not by as much. Reviews coming in June!
Sean and I took Friday off so we could have a four-day weekend. The weather has been beautiful so far! Sean finished organizing the garage (it looks so good!) and we tag-teamed the front landscaping. I worked on it at first, but it was a lot more work than either of us expected. We took out all of the ground cover (okay, most of the ground cover… and still have to dig up the roots) around the bushes, and now it looks like the bushes were put there intentionally instead of scraggly things growing out of the ground cover. Progress!
