Sunday Scratches is where I share the little stuff that has happened throughout the week. In hockey, “scratches” are people who are on the roster but do not play in the game. On the blog, “scratches” are the things that have happened to me throughout the week that aren’t necessarily big enough to be an entire post.

Happy Sunday! Here are the scratches for the week.
I spent the week in St. Louis for a work conference! I drove there Monday morning by myself, which meant I listened to a lot of podcasts. I started Office Ladies and got through almost all of them after the round trip! Highly recommend if you’re a fan of the Office.
The conference had more than 700 attendees from various Girl Scout councils, so it was really fun to see old friends and meet new ones! [insert obligatory “make new friends but keep the old” here]
On Tuesday at dinner, we got to meet Sylvia Acevedo, the CEO of Girl Scouts of the USA. It’s a super niche thing to be excited about, but she’s a badass so I was pumped. Plus she complimented my Girl Scout Green nail polish, which was so exciting.
On Thursday, I got dinner with some of Sean’s family who lives in St. Louis. It was so great to see them again! It’s always nice to have an excuse to get together when everyone lives so far apart.
On Friday I drove back to Kalamazoo and have basically been relaxing ever since. I did really well all week with being an extrovert and meeting new people, which means I’ve badly needed some introvert time.
