Sunday Scratches is where I share the little stuff that has happened throughout the week. In hockey, “scratches” are people who are on the roster but do not play in the game. On the blog, “scratches” are the things that have happened to me throughout the week that aren’t necessarily big enough to be an entire post.

And Possibly Dinosaurs has a new look! If you’re a regular reader, you may have noticed that APD has a new web theme. I’m really excited about it!
Chipotle come out with some awesome news this week. It looks like I might have to actually try it now…
Nigeria banned female genital mutilation. This news is technically a few weeks old, but I just found out about it this week and couldn’t not share it.
Jeff Blashill is the new head coach of the Detroit Red Wings. It is, as Ken Holland called it, the worst-kept secret in Red Wings history.
And my week?
Not too much happened this week! We’ve had to keep everything low-key because Stanley got snipped on Monday. It made for a peaceful lunch at the apartment, but he’s wearing the cone of shame until tomorrow morning. Poor puppy!
We had kickball again on Wednesday and lost (again), but Sean hit a home run, which was super awesome!
Other than that, it’s been a lot of puppy and Daredevil watching. Not a bad way to spend the week!
