Sunday Scratches is where I share the little stuff that has happened throughout the week. In hockey, “scratches” are people who are on the roster but do not play in the game. On the blog, “scratches” are the things that have happened to me throughout the week that aren’t necessarily big enough to be an entire post.

Happy Sunday! I feel like I keep saying “it’s been a crazy week,” so I’ve decided it’s just been a crazy 2019 so far. But I’m here for it!
The Week in Review
My bridesmaid dress came in this week! I’m in my friend’s wedding in Traverse City this summer, and she’s using the same company I did for bridesmaid dresses, Azazie. It was so fun to pick it out! I got the Haleigh in Orchid.
Because most of the showtimes right now are for Captain Marvel (with good reason!), Sean and I skipped the movies this week and hit up Olde Peninsula instead. Yum!
Speaking of movies, I definitely want to see Five Feet Apart this week.
On Wednesday, my friend Zach came to town and I joined him and his friend Shannon at Bell’s for Wildermiss and Bronze Radio Return. Hello, two new favorite bands! It was a blast.
I finally finished A Storm of Swords this week! Now I’m onto A Feast for Crows. It’s funny, when I picked up AFFC, I thought to myself “ooh, this book is so much lighter! Sure enough, it’s only 976 pages!” 😂Thanks, George R. R. Martin.
Other than that, my week was work work work! I’m starting to feel a *little* more in control of my to do list, but I’m sure that feeling will go away in another few days. 😉
Around the Web
I ordered these and used them to tidy up the office this week. GAME. CHANGER.
Old Navy is having a huge 40% off sale this weekend! I got myself this jacket so I can replicate this look with this dress that I recently treated myself to.
This was so interesting to me. It seems so much more approachable now!
This is so sweet. Don’t throw away your old mascara!
