Sunday Scratches is where I share the little stuff that has happened throughout the week. In hockey, “scratches” are people who are on the roster but do not play in the game. On the blog, “scratches” are the things that have happened to me throughout the week that aren’t necessarily big enough to be an entire post.

Happy Sunday! Here are the scratches for the week.
Whew. It was a very full workweek that thankfully is ending in some time off. We had a big project culminate on Wednesday: we’re transferring CRM systems, and the migration will take about 3 weeks, so we had to do a lot of prep work to get ready. We’ve been working on it for more than a year, but there was a lot that had to wait until Tuesday and Wednesday. Thankfully it’s behind us and we’re ready to move forward!
Work took up a bunch of time this week, so I don’t have too much to report outside of that! Though I’ve been actively working on using stickers more often in my planner, so I was really excited for Passion Planner’s pre-Black Friday sale. I ordered 3 new sticker books: New Year New Goals, Just Start, and Nature! If you’re curious about Passion Planner, now is the time to order: the sale only runs until tonight at midnight PT and includes 2021 planners! (Here’s how I use my Passion Planners.)
Throughout the week, Sean cleaned all of the slipcover pieces for our couch so we could take photos and list it on Facebook Marketplace in preparation for our new couch’s arrival! I took photos on Thursday and he posted the couch for sale that evening, and we had a bunch of interest right out the gate—someone came Friday after work and the couch was gone, for $50 more than our original asking price! 🙌🏻
We went without a couch for one evening, but it’s much easier to be missing a couch for a little bit than to have too many couches, because holy cow that makes me claustrophobic.
Yesterday morning, our new couch arrived! We spent quite a bit of time after the delivery figuring out how to rearrange the furniture around it—we had an idea in our heads, but then once the couch arrived we realized it might not work as we anticipated. The setup we landed on makes us really happy!
We’ve got the next week off of work, so today I’ll be making a list of our goals for the week, reading, catching up on blogging, and putting up more Christmas decorations!
