I’ve been working from home for almost two years, but it wasn’t until this past summer that I embraced my work-from-home lifestyle and stopped trying to “get dressed” for work.
It’s a top productivity tip: even if you work from home, get dressed for work like you’re going into the office.
I know that tip works for some people, and I’m so glad it does! But I’ve tried to force it for a while and it just doesn’t work for me. I’ve come to embrace my best work-from-home wardrobe: leggings (because I sit cross-legged at my desk and it puts too much strain on less-stretchy fabrics like jeans) and a top that’s warm and cozy but still presentable for video conferences.
