It’s been a while since I last visited St Louis. I don’t remember much because I was very young, but I remember getting into a dryer-sized box with my entire family and going up to the top of the Arch.
Luckily, I’ll be able to go back again soon and relive everything I’ve forgotten, because my sister just moved from Denver to St Louis.
We aren’t 100% sure how long she’ll be living there, and it’s only about a six and a half hour drive from my apartment, so we’re already planning out when I’ll get there.
But in the mean time, let’s check out St Louis.

Have you been to St Louis recently? What do you recommend?
I have never been there before, but this place looks amazing. The skyline <3
Isn’t it amazing?! I can’t wait to visit!
I haven’t been for ten years or more. I was a leader on a trip for high school kids. I remember the claustrophobic ride up the arch very well…The views from the top are worth it though!
So true! I get claustrophobic very easily, but the views… I mean, come on.
I visited St Louis once. I went up in the arch, and on the Budweiser tour. That’s about all I remember 🙂
Haha I remember the Budweiser tour, too! I remember HATING the smell of the hops! haha!
I have also never explored St.Louis park and only driven by; thanks for reminding MNesotans the cool place we got here.
Joua to the Rescue
You’re welcome! Let me know what you think when you go 🙂
I’ve never been to St. Louis, but heard it has some fantastic museums including a really cool air and space museum and a black history museum as well.
Oooh that’s awesome! I’ll definitely have to check those out!
I haven’t been to St Louis in years! Do the still have the wonderful mall of little shops in the old train station?
I’m not sure! I’ll have to find out when I visit! 🙂
I’d love to visit the arch in St. Louis!
Same! It’s so beautiful!
Amazing photos
Aren’t they wonderful?! I Can’t wait to see these places in real life!
I LOVE St. Louis. I’ve only spent a day there once, but it is still one of my favorite cities. One of my favorite memories was driving into the city at night and seeing the arch lit up from far away. It was so beautiful. I believe everyone should put ‘going to the top of the arch’ on their bucket list.
That sounds wonderful! I totally agree!
My hometown! I love it here so much. I actually don’t get into the actual city as much as I’d like to (and honestly can’t even remember if I’ve ever been inside the arch at all, haha!), but whenever I do, it’s always a great time. Forest Park, the Science Center, and the St. Louis Zoo are definitely some of my favorite places to visit. Going to Cardinals games always brings back memories too. And like someone else mentioned, nothing beats the view of the arch lit up at night. <3 Another fun area nearby is Old Town St. Charles. Not as crowded and lots of awesome local stores and restaurants!
These are awesome tips! I’ll definitely add them to my list. I’ve heard great things about the zoo!
